The first road going GT3 variant of the 911 was introduced to the world in 2003. As with all GT variants of the 911 line up, every vehicle is just as at home on the racetrack as it is on a winding canyon road. Over the last 20 yrs the vehicle has become faster, more powerful and even more of an icon.
Since inception, the ethos of the Porsche 911 GT3 has remained the same. Never wavering from a high revving flat 6 engine, the removal of rear passenger seats as well as other unnecessary creature comforts, and the sheer pleasure that comes with driving such an amazing automobile.
With the RS Variant, Porsche turns the intensity dial to its maximum, essentially creating a race car with a license plate. The GT3RS is one of the most hardcore road cars ever developed and is defined by the massive rear spoiler, more aggressive front aero as well as the addition of ventilation over the front wheels.
