what started out as an ambitious project to build the most intense road going derived vehicle has blossomed into an unbelievable icon.
The technological leaps and bounds that have resulted from these advancements in the hybrid systems are still being developed. Coupled to three electric motors, one on each front axle and one in the center of the internal V8 engine, the total horsepower output is just under 900. 0-60mph is completed in less than 3 seconds and the top speed is just over 200mph.
A limited-slip differential has been mounted to the rear axle to allow greater cornering speeds. A 4 wheel steering system was developed to improve slow and high speed cornering. When at slow speeds the rear wheels turn the opposite of the fronts to allow a smaller turning circle. Inversely when traveling at high speeds, all 4 wheels move in the same direction to maintain stability.
Amazingly the power plants can be separated and used for different purposes. The batteries themselves fully charged will run silently for 12 miles. When it's time for mobile recharging, the V8 can be used in Sport mode to send electrons back into the battery. This is achieved through regenerative braking as well as minor inputs from the engine transfer unit itself. With top mounted exhausts for optimal heat removal from the engine, every attention to detail is as functional as it is purposeful.
